1934 saw the creation of the first metal space gun, the Buck Rogers Rocket Pistol, or XZ-31, made by Daisy Manufacturing. In 1935 a smaller model, the XZ-35 or "Wilma" gun, was introduced. Both guns can be cocked by pumping the hand grip. Length 10.5 inches.
