The Lunar Pistol comes on a card with a dart and four small figures to be used as targets. This toy is great example of the "borrowing" that often took place when the design of a toy ray gun made by one company was stolen by another. Originally made in England as the Dan Dare Cosmic Ray Gun, the design for this gun was appropriated and refashioned by Gherzi in Italy to make the Atomic Orbetor X gun. The Gherzi version was then taken by a Spanish manufacturer to createthis toy.
