This is the original version of the popular Space Control Gun made in the late 1950s. This version, also made by T Nomura, was probably made in the early 1950s, and it differs from its better known successor in that it has a slightly more sedate (although still outrageous) fin on the back of the barrel and no fin at all on the front of the barrel.
